There are so many wonderful things I could say about our experience with Hillary. First off, I want to say she is a true professional. Hillary is friendly, knowledgeable, savvy, hardworking, responsive and honest. She is a city agent with prowess in both city and suburbs!
Selling Process:
My husband and I were living in Chicago and needed to think about relocating to the suburbs. We contacted Hillary about 9 months before we were ready to sell. She was more than happy to meet with us at our Chicago home where she completed a thorough walk thru, provided us with feedback to really help us best present our home and answered all our questions. She helped us feel confident and prepared to tackle some projects and decorating tasks before listing time.
Then COVID arrived on the coasts and things got weird! 2020 was a strange time to sell a home and a strange time to buy one as well. Hillary pulled out all the stops and made us feel assured, comfortable and above all safe in a COVID real estate market. She was amazing and determined during the sale of our home, hosting several open houses all while upholding rigorous COVID safety protocols to ensure the health and safety of my family and potential buyers!
Hillary is very personable but never overbearing which makes her a GREAT listing agent. She gets buyers comfortable but allows them their space. She is diligent about her follow up and when it comes to communication, she is prompt and effective. She always kept our best interests in mind when negotiating and involved us every step of the way, ensuring the best outcomes. We were more than pleased with our selling process.
Buying Process:
Patience, Patience, Patience! Hillary has endless patience and really never let us settle for something she knew wasn’t the right fit for our expressed needs. Looking at homes can be exhausting (especially during COVID) and she never let us give into our fatigue. Inventory was limited in the communities we were interested in and Hillary made sure we held out and kept looking until the right house came along. We saw a few dogs in the process and her candid approach was refreshing and welcomed!
Buying a house is stressful and she made the stress feel less heavy. We were so happy to have her in our corner once we found a home. Her research, advice and savvy allowed us to secure our new home and even bump up our close date and get into our house two weeks earlier than originally expected!

Hillary was a great resource when my boyfriend and I were looking for a new apartment. We told her what areas we were looking at, our price point, number of bedrooms, and our preferred amenities. She did a great job at finding various apartments for us to look at. One apartment that she sent was on the higher end of our budget, but she sent it again and got us an appointment once the price went down. We were able to view that location pretty soon after and fell in love with the apartment. It had everything that we were looking for and is located in an amazing neighborhood. Once we signed the lease and received our keys, she went out of her way and bought us a small housewarming gift and a thank you card. I would definitely go through Hillary again if/when my boyfriend and I decide to move.
